Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC)Marketing Campaign2021-present
In my time working with this client at Strategies 360 for over two years, I've witnessed an evolution in the look and feel of the marketing campaigns, with each taking on distinct visual forms. The consistent theme throughout has been highlighting BBNC as more than just a corporation. This campaign endeavors to celebrate the richness and diversity of the land, its people, and the entire Bristol Bay community.

I’ve had the pleasure of designing calendars, stickers, organic and paid social, digital marketing campaigns including the BBNC Annual Shareholder Business Gift Guide, in addition to other digital and printed collateral.

Strategy: Celebrate and explore all things that define BBNC and the region.

Environmental Defense Fund (EDF)Fix the Forest, Forest Management CampaignAugust 2023-present
EDF has launched a new climate resilient forest initiative aimed at influencing how newly available federal funds are spent. Specifically, the resilient forest initiative hopes to build support for increasing the pace and scale of forest management, utilizing science-backed practices to improve forest health and make our forests more resilient to catastrophic wildfire.

EDF’s overarching goal is to grow public literacy about these practices and utilize public support to influence key decision makers to support these solutions on the ground and in the policy arena. Relatedly, EDF wants to counter the confusion, which also aids public agencies and officials by providing them the “cover” they need to pursue improved policies and implement projects.

Strategy: Develop a brand identity and website for a forest management campaign that educates and encourages folks to get involved and make informed decisions in effort to prevent more catastrophic wildfires.

American Wood Council2023 Annual Report February-March 2024
Using previous annual reports as a template, I designed an interactive microsite to engage the user in the American Wood Council’s (AWC) annual report exhibiting the most notable achievements of 2023. The thoughtful interface consists of several simple modules that are able to be “clicked into” allowing the user to read the entire article. Having relatively straightforward content blocks creates a more accessible user experience and supports the clean, type forward AWC brand system. Upon completing the microsite, I created a downloadable pdf that consolidates the content in a more traditional, long form document.

One of the design challenges encountered in this project was designing a table of contents for the downloadable pdf since there would be no interactive navigation. I solved this by incorporating the hero images from each section and including page numbers. This parallels the interaction when hovering on the site.

Strategy: Using the existing AWC brand system, design a micro site and digital, downloadable annual report highlighting events and progress made in the six issues pertaining to the protection and expansion of opportunities for wood construction.

Montana Department of Transportation (MDT)Boiler Plate GraphicsSummer 2023
These boilerplate graphics were a series of badges designed to be used in various collateral for the Montana Department of Transportation over the course of the summer. I was given create freedom to illustrate and use type to create engaging western inspired designs to encourage drivers to be vigilent over the summer holidays. I used this as an opportunity to experiement with texture and flex my illustration skills.

Strategy: Keep drivers safe

Jolie & Co.Luxury Stationery DesignJanuary-April 2019
Winter and spring of 2019 I freelanced for a custom, luxury wedding stationery business, Jolie & Co., where I worked with an exceptionally talented calligrapher on wedding suites in addition to other day-of collateral. Having previously worked in the wedding industry assisting with floral design and production, I was interested in seeing other aspects that go into the big day. During my time at Jolie & Co., I designed several suites, Maria added the calligraphy and helped finalize the designs. The illustrations and watercolors were done by an artist in Russia.

Strategy: Create beautiful, compost-proof, coffee table (or refrigerator) worthy wedding invitations suites and day of branded collateral.
